There is something quite special about walking the Esplanade at Cronulla on a dark overcast day and watching an ocean that is alive with movement.

I find the increbible colours of the shoreline foliage are intensified when damp on a day with no sun shining. So may purples, rusty reds, oranges and pinks jumped out at me. I really loved painting this one, the looseness and carefree approach with the paintbrush was so enjoyable, and I think it’s one of my first grey day moody pieces.

Artwork is ready to hang and is professionally framed in a contemporary solid oak frame.
